DESCRIPTION OF SOLACE HOUSE

How we create the lowest possible price ?

BY OPTIMAL SURFACE AND CAPACITY

The structure is equipped with a set of 24 photovoltaic cells placed on a tilted roof. Tilting the roof at an angle of 32 degrees enabled us to arrange a mezzanine /plus a  dedicated technical room/ with a total area of 14,2 m2  in the attic.

BY PLACING ELEMENTS TO THE 20 FT. CONTAINER SPACE

The novelty of the solution is to put all the elements such as construction, facades, thermal insulation, sets of doors and windows, technical equipment of the building in  20 ft container space which accounts for the volume of 6.1 x 2.6 x 2.4 m. The development of the new structure is based on the experience gained during the construction of a prototype modular building which is the subject of ‘ Modular Building, Reg.No. 15601’  industrial design issued by the Polish Patent Office. The idea of packing all the SOLACE house elements inside a 20 ft container allows us to transport SOLACE house everywhere by sea or land.

BY ELEMENTS PREFABRICATION

The prefabrication of the construction, interior wall cladding and facade elements guarantees the quality of performance and makes the  SOLACE  house construction process a lot faster.  

BY SELF-ASSEMBLY (FLAT-PACK)

‘Container’ concept is the essence of the project. All elements, facades, interior finish, insulation, technical equipment of the building, white installations, kitchen equipment, furniture and other interior elements are inside a 20 ft container. Once delivered to the site,  they can be assembled by the owner of the house or by a certified construction team. Wood has been a traditional building material for centuries. Its light weight and durability ensure the possibility of self-assembly.

BY ENERGY EFFICIENT DEVICES

SOLACE house is equipped with modern devices characteristic for NF15 buildings (15 kWh/m2 per annum energy usage) , such as electrical installation, water – sewage, ventilation, heating – cooling


How SOLACE can generate income for the owners?

In order to reduce the volume and facilitate installation,  the concept of innovative Termoinsulations has been developed. This solution increases the thermal insulation properties, significantly reduces the purchase price and reduces installation time.

PV / SOLAR

The building is equipped with a set of 24 photovoltaic/renewable energy devices / with a total maximum power of 6 kW / h. In a building with very high energy performance, this superior thermal insulation fully meets the demand for electricity and in the future can supply it to the network. Energy independence is possible thanks to a small area/cubic capacity, excellent thermal insulation, and energy-saving technical infrastructure.Thanks to these features, living in a SOLACE house is cost-free. The photovoltaic panels produce all the energy used by the residents. Thanks to an on-grid system, any generated solar power is exported onto the electricity grid and imported from the grid during the night at the same or higher price. In some countries ( eg. France or the United Kingdom)  the export of the energy to the grid can generate a significant income for the family that lives in the house. In countries where electricity is sold at market prices, taking into consideration the low price of SOLACE house, its total cost can be repaid during its life cycle.
